Andrew Bess
Andrew Bess is a managing director at Hero Investments LLC. He has worked in the investment banking and private equity industries for over 20 years on transactions including buy- and sell- side M&A, private equity financings, restructurings and joint-venture negotiations. Prior to Hero, he was a founding member of Daroth Capital Advisors, where he spent over 15 years working with middle market clients across a broad range of industries. Andrew was previously an associate in Wasserstein Perella’s Financial Sponsors Coverage Group, and worked in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory practice. He received an MBA degree from Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College.
Andrew is the membership chairperson for the New Jersey chapter of Exit Planning Exchange, a community of professional advisors who help owners build valuable businesses and assist them in preparing and executing a successful transition. He also serves as the treasurer of Save Barnegat Bay, an organization dedicated to restoring and protecting Barnegat Bay and its ecosystem.
